Kinesis, like a taxis, is a movement or activity of a cell or an organism in response to a stimulus. However, unlike taxis, the response to the stimulus provided is non-directional.
‘Organic unit’ borders between the structured and the organic. While its form takes on a surprisingly lively shape and its contours conjure up ideas of a small mammal, the legs both read as quadruped and pedistal. This duality is created by situating a rigid structure within an organic context. The funtion of the legs are practical, necessary and implied.
