Within its Element

Within its element refers to a principle prevalent in minimalist sculpture in which sculpture is created within the limits of its material. In other words, no additional connections,adhesives, structural or chemical modifications were made to the sculpture in order for it to take shape, stand and present itself in 3D. Its is in understanding its material capabilities/limitations and by applying fundamental design elements that this work was created.
